Subscriptions & Image Cropping

September 2015 – CMC enhancements for email subscriptions and image cropping deployed

CMC-logo_bubble-4c_smallBellwether Technology, Inc. deployed additional enhancements to CMC features this weekend.

Online Image Cropping – Now when loading images in the Campaign Setup for the image slide show, or the campaign logo, the system provides a tool for cropping the image prior to storing it. The crop outline is configured to maintain the perfect aspect ratio (height + width) to fit within the image area designated. This means you can use any image you wish, and avoid the hassle and guesswork of trying to create a perfectly sized image yourself prior to loading into CMC. A real time saver!

Join Us! Email Subscription – Campaign supporters viewing the campaign’s public CMC website can now sign-up for email notifications without having to complete a long form. Just name and email address, and click submit… DONE! The subscribing users will appear in the campaign’s CMC admin site, on the Join Us! page. If a campaign has opted for the Email Blaster a la carte feature, these subscribers will be included in Email Blasts when a campaign selects “Constituents that joined the campaign” as the recipient group.

Other back-end improvements have been deployed as well to improve overall system performance. Just one more step in our quest to provide your campaign the best tools possible.

Email Blaster Feature Launch!

August 2015 – CMC Launches the new “Email Blaster” a la carte feature

CMC-logo_bubble-4c_smallCampaigns are all about communications, and reaching the target audience through multiple media and communication types. Bellwether Technology, Inc. has launched it’s newest CMC a la carte feature named Email Blaster.

Email Blaster allows campaigns to develop email communications within CMC’s rich text system, and send them to targeted areas of the campaign’s constituency and supporters. Users who view the campaign’s public CMC website can subscribe to receive campaign updates via email. Campaigns can send messages out to groups who have subscribed, donated, or requested campaign information; campaign staff and volunteers; and any other individual or organization who have submitted their email address, or been entered into the system by the campaign.

Campaign’s can generate multiple email templates to make re-use simple, and CMC even scrubs the addresses to ensure messages aren’t sent to an email address more than once to prevent spamming supporter’s inboxes.

Email Blaster’s capabilities are a vital tool in maintaining communications with a campaign’s base, eliciting support, and reaching a broad audience.
